Subject: Saved with Baptism? |
Bible Note: Hello Raven I have been following this post about children and salvation, the Word clearly says that all have sinned. We cannot try to make things nice for children. They have the same fleshly nature as adults. Nobody really understands. The Word says so. Read Romans 3:10-18 and measure it up with what you believe. And also Romans 7:14-20. Sin dwells in every living creature right out of the womb. When did sin leave the World? It never has. Read Romans 5:12-13. It spread through all men by way of Adam. So in essence what you are saying is that even though Adam sinned and sin has entered in the world, sin does not dwell in the infant which has just been born. Jesus came to cleanse us from our sins. And as for Jesus and his teachings about Children and the Kingdom of God. That applies to us all. We do have a Heavenly Father? He does refer to all humans as HIS children? Jesus was teaching a parable for all to understand, not just children. If you take that stance literally (which you cannot do for parables), then there really is no need to grow up as an adult. Children are to obey their parents. We are to obey our Parent...God, so therefore we are compared to children receiving the Kingdom of God. Many believers like to change the Gospel for their accomodations. It is Plain and Simple. God Created Man, Man Sinned, Sin still exists in the World, God Sent his Only Son to pay for our Sins. I also noticed no one really posted anything about the wrath of God? You mean to tell me the first born God slayed in Egypt were the exception? These were kids who had no idea what was going on. Again I say we all need to stop trying to sugar coat our human nature. Be blessed. The Berean |
