Bible Question: Simple statements please. My question is this... What if all the people that are effected by the rapture theory say "Hmm, IF I get a second change to go to heaven after the saints are raptured... then I can just wait, live it up now and worry about it later." Where does it say 2nd changes are an option in the second coming. If we minister pro rature theories ALL the time, then IF BY CHANCE there is no rapture and the horrors of the end days begin, how many Christians will still be believers. How many will be mad at God for what was ASSUMED to happen i.e. The Rapture. What bearing will this have on the believability of Christianity. |
Bible Answer: Greetings Ms. Tish I don't see how anyone that knows about the tribulation would actually actively think that. Who would want to go through it? I don't normally talk about "what if's" and I can't speak for others but... As a Christian, if I had to go through the tribulation then so be it. I know my Jesus is coming back for me, I know that he will never leave me nor forsaek me and there's nothing in the world that can shake my faith or change my mind. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. When interpreting the Bible, one may be off on some points here and there, but it really doesn't matter. The main thing is, Jesus died for our sins, rose again on the 3rd day, is seated at the right hand of the throne of God and is coming back for us. Believe and trust in that. Love in Christ Barry |
