Bible Note: Excuse me Ariel... I'm sorry But, the word just before destruction is everlasting. Now I'm not claiming to be an expert, but I think 'everlasting' means everlasting. So can you please give me some reasonable explanation, or even better, some other scripture that would give support for your conclusion that there is an end to it? Otherwise, I'm afraid I'd have to strongly differ, since to my knowledge, Scripture is pretty clear that hell, or the lake of fire, or destruction, or whatever else orthodoxy calls it, it is indeed everlasting, eternal punishment. -John p.s.
