Subject: Is asking for money false? |
Bible Note: Greetings Doc, I "will try" to make this a short correspondence. I appreciate your response, however it quite apparent their continues to be a misunderstanding, and "I am realizing more and more attempting to make things clearer" isn't bearing fruit. "Mammon System" and "Crucified Souls" Defined: Scripture says we can't serve God and Mammon. Now, it is true it doesn't say "system", however it most certainly is implied and understood by those who have ears to ears and eyes to see. (Not saying whether you do or not). Many Chrisitans today see "mammon" as just money( or what they define as the "love of money", and although money is a part of the mammon system, it is just "one part". It is the "oil" that keeps the "system" running, but the mammon system also involves quite frankly every way of man. The mammon system is predicated on hard work, accomplishment, performance, pride, competition, narcissism, "even attempts at morality"!!! etc...I could list 100's, if not 1000's of characteristics. It is simply again "all the ways of man/the flesh". I could say much more, but I believe that will satisfy your inquiry. Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, thus saith the Lord (Zech 4:6)***This makes it "obvious" nothing new under the sun..."the beat goes on..." Now with respect to "crucified souls". Of course, the word "crucified, isn't foreign", I would hope?? and not sure why "souls" causes such hysteria, but simply "we are souls", right?" Scripture does speak about crucifying the flesh, right?" "We are flesh, right?" I could continue, but I think you have the picture. The phrase "crucified souls" is simply a phrase the Holy Spirit gave me to Illuminate and make more personal His desire for all of us. It is simply the use of two words, instead of one, to describe a very foundational truth of Scripture.(Jesus was slain b4 the foundation of the world)(Heb 9:26)Jesus said if you want to be my disciple you will walk as I walked...Be Crucified!!! Did Jesus not live His Life as He died? Crucified??? Handle not, Taste not, Touch not!!!...also read Luke 4/Temptation by Devil) Mammon System and Crucified Souls in no way are adding or subtracting from Scripture. **Not being crucified is "subtracting" and "human morality is adding"...??? The Holy Spirit revealed this to me and I will present it to you this way. Through out Scripture, God purposely had the physical reflect the spiritual, right? Examples: The Garden, Noah's Ark, Tower of Babel, Israelites in Bondage/Egypt, Passover, Their Deliverance through the Red Sea, The Wilderness, The River Jordan, The Promise Land, Captivity in Babylon...I could go on and on...and also in the New Testament we have: Baptism, Lord's Supper, Pentecost, Deaf-hear, Blind-see, Dead-risen, etc...I could go on and on... Now, I think through your studies you have a pretty good idea what those Physical and Historical Events and Things represent? Now, here is the question, as Christians we are soooooooooo eager to see the symbolism in those things and create traditions to remember them by and to honor them, etc...Isn't it interesting that Jesus being Crucified, "according to all the Christians that acknowedge and embrace the symbolism of the other things I listed", yet when Paul or I suggest that Jesus being Crucified is also a Symbolic (Historical/Redemptive, of course) and a foundational part of True Christianity that "many cry foul/heresy!!!" I could go on to further explain this, but again I think this is more than sufficient, the "implications and proof" is obvious. He that hath an ear, let Him hear" (Matt 11:15) I will make one conclusion for you to "chew on". Could it be as humans (we are Idolaters by nature) that we want all "what we think our the benefits of God", without the "Cost"? Christians readily say, "I want to be like Jesus/Christ"...hmmmm, Jesus was Crucified...enough said... Crucified in HIM, Luis |
