Subject: Is asking for money false? |
Bible Note: Greetings, YES, it is "the height of evil" to ask for money for proclaiming and living truth (The Gospel). God's ways aren't our ways and God doesn't live His life through crucified men as the world runs a busineses!!! Below are three examples. Let the Holy Spirit teach you! (John 6:45, John 14:26) Then He said to them, "Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one has an abundance does his life consist of his possessions." Luke 12:16 And He told them a parable, saying, "The land of a rich man was very productive. Luke 12:17 "And he began reasoning to himself, saying, 'What shall I do, since I have no place to store my crops?' Luke 12:18 "Then he said, 'This is what I will do: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. Luke 12:19 'And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years to come; take your ease, eat, drink and be merry."' Luke 12:20 "But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your soul is required of you; and now who will own what you have prepared?' Luke 12:21 "So is the man who stores up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God." Luke 12:22 And He said to His disciples, "For this reason I say to you, do not worry about your life, as to what you will eat; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Luke 12:23 "For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. Luke 12:24 "Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds! Luke 12:25 "And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life's span? Luke 12:26 "If then you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about other matters? Luke 12:27 "Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. Luke 12:28 "But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You men of little faith! Luke 12:29 "And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying. Luke 12:30 "For all these things the nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father knows that you need these things. Luke 12:31 "But seek His kingdom(Christ flowing in righteousness through crucified soul), and these things will be added to you. Luke 12:32 "Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:33 "Sell your possessions and give to charity; make yourselves money belts which do not wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near nor moth destroys. Luke 12:34 "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matt 10:8 "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give. 2 Mark 1:45 But he went out and began to proclaim it freely and to spread the news around, to such an extent that Jesus could no longer publicly enter a city, but stayed out in unpopulated areas; and they were coming to Him from everywhere. 1 Tim 6:1 All who are under the yoke as slaves are to regard their own masters as worthy of all honor so that the name of God and our doctrine will not be spoken against. 1 Tim 6:2 Those who have believers as their masters must not be disrespectful to them because they are brethren, but must serve them all the more, because those who partake of the benefit are believers and beloved. Teach and preach these principles. 1 Tim 6:3 If anyone advocates a different doctrine and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness, 1 Tim 6:4 he is conceited and understands nothing; but he has a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words, out of which arise envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions, 1 Tim 6:5 and constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. (Read all of 1Tim 6) Hope this assist you in your search for truth...remember only the Truth sets you free (John 8:32) from the slavery of the mammon system which is based on "money" (all other ways of man/flesh)...
