Bible Note: Greetings Mark, thanks for your correspondence and the "sincerity in which it was written". All your questions have been answered in previous correspondences. I would reiterate them, but you touched on "a broad spectrum" of what Christ is proclaiming and living through me, and again I am confident if you read over all I have submitted through this Website since Sunday Morning, all your questions will be answered. I will resubmit my "Sell All" Correspondence immediately following this one. I think that will answer many of your questions and should be convincing Scripturally for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. I do need to say this though, I have "repeatedly said "Selling All" isn't necessarily about "selling all your possessions". God desires obedience over sacrifice. There are many misguided souls, cults, etc...that sell all their possessions and even some in the name of Jesus, more times than not, if not all, "their sacrifices" are in vain. One of the most misunderstood truths in God's Word, and there are many, is that when God says He desires obedience over sacrifice that it is a reference to obeying the law(It is in truth, however the key is it is Christ obeying the Law, not us 4 HIM). It isn't! It is speaking of "obeying the Holy Spirit" who will lead us to our cross, as He did Jesus, to be crucified...thus "take up your cross and follow HIM". When Jesus, who fulfilled the Law, and is the Word of God lives through our crucified souls, He will obey the Law and live the Word through our crucified souls(and when we sin/fail grace is there and all are sins are forgiven...amen and amen). This is why in Matt 11:28-31 the Word says, "His burden is light and His yoke is easy"...I don't know about you, but me trying to obey the law hasnt been and isn't light or easy, but it makes perfect sense that "If He is doing it, It is light and easy!!!" amen and amen... God could care less about you selling all your possessions for the sake of proving anything to HIM or others. However, when Christ lives literally through a Crucified Soul, He will live the Life of Repentance He lived while on earth, through us. Therefore, as I have said in a a few previous correspondences, Jesus meets you where you are at and "transitions you out of the mammon system"(not for Macro-Salvation/Eternal Life, but for Micro Salvation/daily walk) and again, the main thing is when He lives through us we will no longer submit to the princples of the world/mammon system, but rather be free in HIM living a life of power, love and a sound mind sowing and reaping in the Unseen/New Jerusalem(this is why Scipture says, "the just shall walk by faith, not by "sight"). This is a process (But He does it, not us 4 HIM). The fact is, as I have experienced as He has lived through me, the world does truly "grow strangely dim" and at this point you couldnt pay me to own a home, car, win the lottery, own other Idols... I have absolutely no desire for any of those things. Now, if the Lord leads me to marry, perhaps a "sufficient home and car" will be in order. However, this is a big "maybe" because I am content as I am, single... and at this point don't see me getting married. However, If I did, God would send me a crucified woman, and we would Married Life of Repentance. Fact is owning a Home, etc...isn't in of itself evil. The First Century Church met in Homes, but please read Acts 1 and 2, and listen to the Holy Spirit, and don't rationalize!!! Much more could be said, but I hope this is sufficient for now. Again, please read all my Correspondences over past 4 days. There is one Correspondences with 4 "Sell All" Scriptures that will prove that is what Jesus desires of us, but again it isnt necessarily about "selling all our possessions", alhtough the Disciples did. It is more about not having ownership and or getting one's Identity or worth from the things of the world.(Acts 1 and 2) And only He can "truly" do that where it is pleasing to HIM(Faith/not might and power). I Must run, thanks for your email. I hope this clarified things. Be careful of "setting up straw men" to justify your Idolatry". This is bold, but truth in love. I will resend "The Sell All" Cor. shortly... Crucified in HIM, Luis |
