Subject: Is asking for money false? |
Bible Note: Greetings Hank, It may "appear to be a "dichotomy", but I assure you it isn't. I expected God's Truth to be mocked (and I am not here to debate or quarrel...simply sharing boldly truth in love)...now, obviously a True Christian that has sold all, (Matt 6:33) due to the fact we do live in this world, may need some financial support for "daily provisions"(Paul was an example, but please note He wasn't a part of culture He came from or lived in...He had sold all), however most "Christian Churches, Ministries, and Missionaries, haven't sold all... and they seek funds to pay for their Buildings, and what they call "blessed lifestyles" by the grace of God. This Hypocrisy is the origin of my "adamacy". It is true, with respect to this issue, I would need to write considerably longer than I am allowed on here. But bottom line is "Professing Christians" supporting "other Professing Christains" in their rebellion (Wicked Servant Ministries) is not of faith and is an abomination to the Lord they claim to serve. Also, with respect to "spreading the Gospel around the world", the Holy Spirit is already doing that...He needs no help from us (and yes, I know about Romans 10:14, but please read Romans 10:18 before you disagree...He that hath ears to hear, let him hear...) I Could and probably need to say much more on this subject, but probably best for "You and I/and anyone else that may differ on this topic to agree to disagree. Please understand I do respect and appreciate your views... Oh, and by the way, those who have obeyed the Lord's Command to sell all, "don't have utility bills". (at least not for a church building and so in that regard no "staff salaries" either...) Good to hear from you again... Crucified in HIM, Luis |
