So, is the Watchtower a panacea? Do they have the answers that "modern day christianity" lacks?

I find that a huge stretch, to say the least. You are painting a picture of generalities. You should ask yourself if the Watchtower is any more moral than what you're condeming. They're not.

It is more of the pot calling the kettle black, don't you think? We don't need more morality, we need more Jesus. It is Him and Him alone in Whom are all treasures of wisdom and knowledge! It is in Him that we are made righteous, not in man-made organizations, secular activities, or religious leaders. (1 Cor. 1:30)

I do not agree with you. You are promoting nothing more than Arianism, my friend. Without trying to be snide, as my 9th Grade science teacher used to say, "tell me something I don't know already"!
