NASB	1 John 2:1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous;
AMPLIFIED 2015	1 John 2:1 My little children (believers, dear ones), I am writing you these things so that you will not sin and violate God's law. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate [who will intercede for us] with the Father: Jesus Christ the righteous [the upright, the just One, who conforms to the Father's will in every way--purpose, thought, and action].

Subject: Do gays and lesobians go to hell?

Bible Note: Unless God and the two evil brothers were doin' some serious business in the final hours, they are in hell! In my flesh I rejoice at their death b/c their sin was great evil causing much suffering. I'm sure, however, that God does not rejoice in the death of the wicked. He condemns to hell b/c He alone is holy and His judgment must be done for the protection of all the other rational beings in His creation; both physical and spiritual.
