AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Peter 4:6 For this is why the good news [of salvation] was preached [in their lifetimes] even to those who are dead, that though they were judged in the flesh as men are, they may live in the spirit according to [the will and purpose of] God. |

Bible Note: Greetings Angel! Allow me to provide an example! John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." This is written in a language. Thus, it follows certain rules of structure and meaning. This sentence is understandable whether or not one is a believer. Now, only a believer will actually have a relationship with the father. But, even an unbeliever can read the sentence and understand the sentence. :-) You mentioned a good example with Israel, but Israel's problem wasn't that they could not understand the words of Scripture. They went beyond what Scripture said or ignored what Scripture said. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
