NASB | 1 Peter 2:24 and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Peter 2:24 He personally carried our sins in His body on the cross [willingly offering Himself on it, as on an altar of sacrifice], so that we might die to sin [becoming immune from the penalty and power of sin] and live for righteousness; for by His wounds you [who believe] have been healed. |
Bible Question: Moses did not die from anything.Deut 33:7 and I do believe that God will heal anyone. Jesus never said I wont heal you and when the woman with the issue of blood touched Him she was healed. So how can you think that healing isnt available to us? Not everyone believes it but the scripture says my people die from lack of knowledge. |
Bible Answer: Scripture ... Deut 33:7, John 5:1-9 ... Deut 33:7 is not about healing ... it is about prophecy about Judah In John 5:1-9, Jesus only healed one man, of the multitude. Not everyone is heled, then or today. Searcher |
