Bible Question: Can someone explain to me the doctrine of "salvation by faith only in Christ in light of Jam. 2:14-26. This doctrine does not agree with scripture. |
Bible Answer: A GREAT TIGHT-ROPE WALKER WAS PUTTING ON A SHOW WALKING BETWEEN TWO TALL BUILDINGS. HE AMAZED THE CROWD AS HE WENT BACK FORTH OVER A BUSY STREET BELOW.HE ASK A MAN IN THE CROWD IF HE THOUGHT HE COULD CARRY HIM ON HIS BACK ACROSS THE STREET ON THE ROPE. THE MAN REPLIED,YES I THINK YOU COULD DO THAT.BUT WHEN THE PERFORMER HELD OUT HIS HAND FOR THE MAN TO GET ON HIS BACK HE REFUSED;SAVING FAITH WILL HAVE WORKS (OR ACTIONS) ONE GOES WITH THE OTHER, NOT EITHER OR. |
