Bible Note: Tim: I appreciate and respect you and I read your postings with pleasure. Thank you for your reply and your explanation of this passage. As I mentioned in a previous post, this passage does have four major interpretations. I have been familiar with all four of them for about 30 years now. The one I am most familiar with is the one I was repeatedly taught as a child growing up in an Arminian church, i.e.: The warning is to those who are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and are in danger of falling away, through unbelief or sin, and losing their salvation. I only wish that everyone who posts here would present their views with the courtesy, sensible references to Scripture, reason and clarity that you have used regarding Heb. 6:4. Sincerely, Radioman |
