Subject: How can Jesus be tempted if He is God? |
Bible Note: Thankyou for your imput i will endeavour to explain a bit more in depth. As Jesus walked the earth His body wasnt perfect. Luke 13:32 Jesus own words said that He would be perfected after the Three days. that is after the Holy Spirit had raised Him from the dead. Jesus also said about satan, John 14:30 he has nothing in me .which means he was sinnless, according to james 1:14 you are only tempted when you are drawn away by you OWN desires.Heb 4:15 states Jesus was tempted in all points as we are.So if He was tempted, He must have had His own desires But surrendered them.1 john 2:16 these are the areas Jesus was tempted in ,but He submitted to God and resisted satan and satan fled.James 4:7 humility cures worldliness, submitt, resist, and we overcome and become sinless. Yet not totally perfect as our body is dying. Because Jesus made the Road so that we can jump on His Road train.Amen.YIC. |
