Bible Question:
If Jesus is God, and God cannot be tempted, how could Jesus really be tempted? I think I have an answer, but I would like to hear from others. Ref. Mt. 4.1; Heb. 4.15; Jms. 1.13 |
Bible Answer: Can you not see in John chapter one ,in the beginning was the Word........ But the word became Flesh and dwelt among us. Flesh was imperfect because of Adam. Now the Second Adam had to overcome this imperfect flesh to gain all the rights that the first adam had Given away through disobedience. Jesus Died a man seperated from God .Jesus gave up perfection to be imperfect to win back His bretheren and bridge the Gap adam had created.Jesus was sinless not perfect, because he endured Temptation. It wasnt until He had been resurected by the Holy Spirit perfection was put on. That is why We can overcome satan because Jesus endured to the point of death He obeyed. He learned obedience through the things He suffered and became the First born of many bretheren. bless you ,YIC |
