NASB | Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin. |
Subject: How can Jesus be tempted if He is God? |
Bible Note: Yo! Joe Jesus was tempted that is how He learned obedience, His sufferings. Those sufferings were to the death. The sufferings of not being able to let the flesh have its own way. Jesus said Not MY will but Yours be done. Then all hell broke loose. Jesus is the Son of God and also the Son of man.He was perfected after the three days. the point i am trying to make is that if Jesus can do it so can we, because He said so. Do what you may ask? Be perfect as our father in heaven is perfect.bless you ,YIC. |
