Subject: Is Jesus Gods son? |
Bible Note: Pastor Glenn, Notice the following references. There a many such references to life being in the blood. Genesis 9:4“But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. Leviticus17:11‘For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul. Deut.12:23“Only be sure that you do not eat the blood, for the blood is the life; you may not eat the life with the meat. The Holy Bible, New King James Version, (Nashville, Tennessee: Thomas Nelson, Inc.) 1982. There is something sacrad about blood to the Lord. Also, it is interesting that the child gets its blood type from the father. I believe the sin nature is passed from the father to the child. That would explain why Jesus could not have a human father. Numerous references in the Bible refer to us being born with this fallen nature. Yet, Jesus was born as the Lamb of God without spot or blemish. His blood was from His Father. I don't have any idea how this happened, but surely is was an easy task for the creator of the universe.
