AMPLIFIED 2015 | Hebrews 1:5 ¶ For to which of the angels did the Father ever say, "YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN (fathered) YOU [established You as a Son, with kingly dignity]"? Bible Question (short): What does Today I have begotten The mean |
Question (full): In Hebrews 1:5 what does God the Father mean when He said in the NASB that "Today I have begotten Thee (Jesus)". Is the Father referring to Jesus' physical birth or is there another explanation for God's statement. Thanks |
