Bible Question: once saved always saved? |
Bible Answer: Personally I have always leaned against believing once saved always saved, yet I can provide just as many scriptural passages for "once saved, always saved" as I can against it. My determination concerning the thought is that it is a dangerous belief, thus through the Grace of God I am going to do my best to live as His word tells me I should, and when such questions as yours arise, I will lean on Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil." GB |
