AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God's will, both publicly and privately--behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]; |
Bible Question: How does a person respectfully and kindly Attempt to dialogue with someone who believes the only inspired Bible is the King James Bible? Just saying I would rather not get into this subject has not been fruitful, and made the KJV person come and insist we dialogue. They even believe the NASB was translated by some evil people. |
Bible Answer: Personally I don't believe you should attempt a dialogue and nor should you allow someone to "rope you in" to such a discussion. You might suggest that the two of you spend time studying the bible instead of arguing over the translations and see if he/she will bite. You might even agree to do the study using the KJV and not let it be an issue. As for the suggestion that the NASB was translated by evil people, well, I wouldn't even honor that with a response of any kind. |
