Bible Question: How does a person respectfully and kindly Attempt to dialogue with someone who believes the only inspired Bible is the King James Bible? Just saying I would rather not get into this subject has not been fruitful, and made the KJV person come and insist we dialogue. They even believe the NASB was translated by some evil people. |
Bible Answer: God's day to you, justme, There are people who insist that the Bible version, demonination or even their beliefs is the only correct way. When people say KJV (AV) is the only inspired Bible or say it is the only one they preach from, it think it is interesting they don't talk everyday like the Bible they read. Moreover, most people today cannot read the 1611 version. Look at Psalm 23: http://www.bibleandscience.com/bible/kjv.htm There have been other versions of the KJV, not counting the NKJV. Most important, the translators didn't claim they were inspired http://watch.pair.com/preface-kjv.html Hopefully, they are willing to study the links I have included and even more. Nonetheless, hopefully you can find a common ground to discuss the Bible, God ... Searcher |
