Subject: Paul our pattern to follow, not Jesus? |
Bible Note: Hi Mark, I am sooo sorry about the all caps...I am new to posting. I won't ever do it again. I was just doing it for emphasis. Mark, I am not there yet, but I am striving to be able to say, "for me to live, is Christ. I love Jesus with all my heart. I strive every day to get to know this treasure (Jesus) who lives in my earthen vessel. I marvel that His spirit and my spirit is one. However, when Jesus walked on this earth, He lived and kept the law. We don't have to do that. So, I just mean that part of His life we don't have to imitate. Paul, on the other hand, says " the things which you have learned, received, heard, and seen in me, do. Paul says God is going to judge the secrets of our hearts by his gospel.I just want to know if you think Jesus gave enough scriptures to Paul for the Gentiles to get saved and live a fulfilled Christian life? Do you believe the early Gentile believers had access to all of the bible? Would you live your life differently if you only had Romans - Hebrews? Can you answer those three questions, my brother? In Him and He in me |
