Subject: How to exercize the gift of prophecy? |
Bible Note: You might notice the stoning of a phophecy that did not occur the way it was told. The person wasn't stoned. Acts 21:11 And coming to us, he took Paul's belt and bound his own feet and hands, and said, "This is what the Holy Spirit says: 'In this way the Jews at Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.'" Notice here it says the Jews at Jerusalem will bind Paul Now lets read what happened. 21:33 Then the commander came up and took hold of him, and ordered him to be bound with two chains; and he began asking who he was and what he had done. Here it states it was the gentiles who bound Paul not the Jews. Who that prophet false No, the bible doesn't state Him or the prophecy was false. I metioned before in this same thread to the reason why I think all prophecies today will not be perfect by the time it gets out of the prophets mouth. It WILL always have some sort of error to it. Because the prophecy must get through the mans mind Also this is not a condrdiction in the Bible what is recored is what happened. and What the MAN said is true in that he said it. Luke wrote exactly what the people said in the book of Acts. In Christ, Darcy |
