Subject: How to exercize the gift of prophecy? |
Bible Note: DL5, Hope you don't mind me asking this But how do you know who it was that told you? I am not saying any of what you experenced is fake. I am Just curious how you know who it was? I have noticed this when it comes to prophecy. (Other than the prophecies that are in the Bible.) There is something that is not included in the prophecy. For example in your case you were given the prophecy about dieing, but you weren't told that you would be healed. I think that all prophsies will have error in them today and the reason for this is is because The holy Spirit gives your person's spirit the prophecy then it goes to the persons mind. That is were it gets flawed. From the mind the person speaks it. The OT prophets had God speaking directly through the man. The Word didn't go through the mind first. The biggest error with the prophecy today is people standing up and saying "Thus saith the LORD thy God," This isn't completely correct. Yes God might have given the person the prophecy but it goes through the Human mind before it is spoken thus becomes in some way not completly pure. I have seen prophies spoken that were very accurate but something always didn't happen or happened differently than what the person spoke. This is just an opinion only an opinion. DL5 Praise God for your healing. In Christ, Darcy |
