Bible Note: Greetings EdB! I agree that new Christians should consult with their pastors and churches. Most churches have a core set of doctrines that define who they are. Anyone who doesn't agree with that core, should never try to change that church. He/She should simply find a church he/she does agree with. However, most churches don't make one's view of the tribulation a matter of fellowship. There is a difference between a public forum and a church. As a pastor, I would never let anyone preach in my church who disagreed with my core beliefs. But, I would encourage my people to read about other views and understand them. I don't think people should be isolated from other view points. The best defense against false doctrine is a sound grasp of good doctrine.
