Bible Note: 1 Peter 3:20 who once were disobedient, when the patience of God kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through the water. (NASB) Notice that the eight people were saved "through" the water and not "by" the water. Water baptism is something all Christians (notice that we are already saved) should do after salvation to confess Jesus as Lord and Savior. Being saved is the baptism of the Holy Spirit, because Jesus promised the Holy Spirit to all believers (John 14:16) in Him. God Bless! In God's Grace, Ric |
