Bible Question (short): I'm not sure what you are trying to ask |
Question (full): I'm not sure what you are trying to ask of me, but I'll try my best to answer what I think you are asking me. If I did answer you how you like or not, please reply. Yes, one must be born again to enter the Kingdom of God (as you stated in John 3:3 and 3:7), but you (and most people) read John 3:5 with a misunderstanding. John 3:5 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. The one being "born of water" is the actual birth of a child from the mother’s birth canal. In the following verse in context explains that well: John 3:6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. Water Baptism is not required for your salvation, if it were that would make Jesus' work on the cross for us insufficient. In God's Grace, Ric |
