Bible Question:
Thank you, it does. I've read quite a few posts that mention The MacArthur Study Bible. One of them mentioned that it was from a certain denomination, do you know what they were talking about? By the answers I have read it seems like a very good study aid. thanks again! |
Bible Answer: Hi leonore, Yes, MacArthur, who is still living, has written a study Bible. And he definitely has a certain denominationaly perspective, which is Reformed and it is all very complicated. The best thing I have found is to ask the indwelling Holy Spirit to teach you the meaning of the passage you are studying. John 16:13 says, "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come."
