Bible Note: I agree with srbaegon. I too live under grace. Jesus fulfilled the law so that we would no longer have to live under it's burdensome weight. If we are still bound by the Old Testament Law then why did Jesus die? And yes, all scripture is profitable for training in righteousness as the Word says. But does that mean I must live by all the laws God gave before Jesus died? If so then I have failed miserably as I eat pork and shellfish, etc. But this is not the case. Jesus died to set us free and in that freedom I choose to live. |
