NASB | Deuteronomy 24:4 then her former husband who sent her away is not allowed to take her again to be his wife, since she has been defiled; for that is an abomination before the LORD, and you shall not bring sin on the land which the LORD your God gives you as an inheritance. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Deuteronomy 24:4 then her former husband who [first] sent her away may not take her again as his wife, since she has been defiled; for that is an outrage before the LORD, and you shall not bring sin on the land which the LORD your God gives you as an inheritance. |

Bible Note: Hank: Respectfully and with sincere kindness may I address this issue. I mean no disrepect, but I believe that nothing I wrote suggested that my note indicated any answer was not from the Bible. My concern is that smay read what they think scripture says when they are very wrong, as they know nothing about the culture or customes. Case in point is that "sending away" or "putting away" is not the same as divorce. That was my point. I do not quite know how to take your note. I prefere to ask you what you ment by it rather than draw a wrong conclusion. Blessings and peace. justme |
