Bible Question (short): reconcile this scripture with suicide |
Question (full): How is this scripture reconciled with the fact that many in this day and age do indeed hate themselves and destroy themselves through slow or quick suicide? If it is not applicable to ones own body, but those of their families (flesh of my flesh, bones of bone) then many are also killing their kids, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, etc. through anger and hate. Is this a new evil that the writer of Ephesians had not witnessed or is there a deeper or different meaning to this verse that is not easily discerned or understood? |
