Subject: Believing in the Bible and E.T.'s |
Bible Note: Hi Foe*hammer, I would like to encourage you with this: There are certain beings that God created, according to the Bible. There are the animals, fish, and birds: Gen 1:28 God blessed them; and God said to them (to man), "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth." God made man to rule over the animal kingdom. There are the angels: 1 Cor 6:3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life? Heb 1:14 Are they (the angels) not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation? God intends that mem will judge the angels, and has set the angels to serve the redeemed. And there is man himself: Gen 1:27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. There is no other created being of which it is said that they are created in the image of God. Man is given a place over the animals, and will be given place over the angels. God's desire for man is to be His family - absolutely amazing!!! To be conformed to the image of Jesus - how can we even begin to imagine what that will be like! :-) :-) :-) We have a lifework ahead of us to learn and to live what God has revealed in His Word. I for one wish to keep my focus, and to not become distracted. I appreciate that you wish for us to see the greatness of God. What else are eyes for? To hear of His wonderful works. Why else do we need ears? But I hope you can begin to understand God's great and wonderful plan for man! Eph 2:7 so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Love in Christ, Mark |
