AMPLIFIED 2015 | Ephesians 2:2 in which you once walked. You were following the ways of this world [influenced by this present age], in accordance with the prince of the power of the air (Satan), the spirit who is now at work in the disobedient [the unbelieving, who fight against the purposes of God]. |

Bible Note: Hi Foe*hammer, Do you think that God would not be great if He made us to be the center of the universe? Did you know that scientists observe red-shift in the light from stars and galaxies in all directions? There is a very interesting implication to that. Red-shift comes as a light source is receding from you. If the stars and galaxies are all red-shifted, then that can only mean they are all receding from the earth, actually placing the earth in the center of the universe. But let's go back to the Bible. Ephesians chapter one tells us of God's Plan. Eph 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. Now, you might argue that this proves your point, as God will gather all things together in Christ, things in heaven and on earth, but notice at the end of this chapter: Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. "the church, which is his body, the fulness of him that fills all in all" As the body of Christ, and later the bride of Christ, it's a hard spot to beat. Colossians chapter one also has much to say on this, especially: Col 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. Whether Jesus died for things in heaven or in earth, Jesus came here, to the earth, and died here, on earth. What I am trying to express to you is how central mankind is in God's plan, and how special we are to God. He wants a family, so He created us! Here on earth! Wow!!! About space aliens, I want to make a few observations. Purely on a natural level, I am not aware of any mature Christian seeing a "flying saucer" or UFO, or whatever you want to call them. I am aware that UFO's and such are predominantly seen by people who are already involved in other forms of the occult. But again, back to the Bible. When angels of God appeared to mankind, they appeared in the Old Testament as men, and in the New Testament as angels of God. They never appeared as space aliens in flying saucers. Satan is the deceiver, and seeks to deceive. The whole UFO movement promotes "new age" philosophy, so by it's fruit, it is not of God. I agree with you that the God Who made us made them, but I urge you do not be deceived by those angels that have chosen to rebel against God, and come disguised as angels of light, seeking to drag you down with them.
