Bible Question: Why did God put the devil on earth after he was expelled from Heaven knowing all the trouble he would cause for people on earth? |
Bible Answer: Hi Buckman, While scripture does not explicitly tell us "why" God allows satan, we can surmise that it is His will. Consider Eph. 1:11: "also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will" In Gods' permissive will He allows satan to exist. Much could be said, and possibly others may decide to comment. We can certainly consider Job. In Job 1:6-12, God allows satan to have his way with him. We can see the outcome in 2:3, that ultimately, God is glorified in all this. I hope this helps, BradK |
