Bible Question: I was wondering if there is a simple way to gage when the Lord is directing you into a job or a change in occupation etc....does everything always fall into place when its God directed? I've heard people make that statement when they get the job their believing for or the wonderufl dream house. My life hasn't been that simple. So, I wonder if I'm missing the mark. Is that true..can you gage life's decisions on that premise? |
Bible Answer: I have found in my own life that the best gauge is joy and peace. When I wake up with God on my mind and I go to sleep with God on my mind, then I know that I am in focus. When I am in focus, seeking to know God, then He shows me where He wants me. Granted, it may seem "crazy" in the world standards. But God has never failed me. And I have discovered that He knows me better than I know myself. The key to knowing God's will for your life is knowing God, and the key to knowing God is knowing His word, and the key to knowing His word is spending time in it everyday. Keep it in your eyes, your ears, and your heart. Kelkat |
