Subject: Thank the Catholics for "The Passion"? |
Bible Note: Pardon me, me friend. I was asking a question. It occurred to me that the word "passion" is not common among Christians. (To my knowledge it has not been, until now). But Catholics have been using the term. Now there is this movie made by a man who is passionate in his devotion to that denomination. It seems to be that he has done it because of the influence the church has had on him. If I am saying anything, as a context for my question, it is that I perceive this movie to have been inspired by the Catholic church. As in this entire thread, I am looking for something positive, that would have been contributed by one segment of the church. By "church" I mean the entire body of Christ. I take it that the Catholic church is a part, and that it is contributing something positive. |
