AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 2:14 ¶ But the natural [unbelieving] man does not accept the things [the teachings and revelations] of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding them, because they are spiritually discerned and appreciated, [and he is unqualified to judge spiritual matters]. |

Bible Note: Hi Pastor Glenn, Matthew 13:15, "'For the heart of this people has become dull, And with their ears they scarcely hear, And they have closed their eyes Lest they should see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart and return, And (I) should heal them.' But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears because they hear." John 9:40, "Those of the Pharisee who were with Him heard these things, and said to Him, "We are not blind too, are we?" (Jesus) said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but since you say, 'We see', your sin remains." Pastor Glenn, may I suggest that you use a version that capitalizes Deity in your studies. I can go with "God is a Spirit" but I could not go on and says that we "must worship him in spirit and truth." If He is a Spirit, then acknowledge Him as such. I hope that you receive that thought in the spirit that I expressed it. From the heart, Ray |
