Bible Note: Dear SeekTruth, The Study Bible Forum (SBF) is a free service graciously provided by the Lockman Foundation. When we create an account we explicitly promise to abide by the explicit Terms of Use (TOU), as well as the general principles on which the foundation came into existence. Indeed, each time we post we are tacitly agreeing with these terms. Insofar as your participation is concerned, I see three elements of the TOU of particular bearing: "[1] Postings must be Biblically based and not opposing the Bible's sole authority (sola Scriptura), Christianity, or the deity of Jesus Christ. [2] Limit content that contains known denominational biases that produce potential strife and undue conflict. [3] Do not push your denominational bias or engage in debates." I think that your problems with items 2 and 3 are self explanatory. Most Pentecostal groups have some difficulty with Biblical authority, and certainly with sola Scriptura, due to their Continuationism. You also probably think of yourself as Christian, finding validation for that perspective among your peers. Nevertheless, you are sufficiently aware of Church History to know that your Modalism (Sabellianism) is heterodoxical, though it appears unlikely that you are aware of the particulars. This is tantamount to denial of the deity of Christ, because your definition of deity denies God's Triune nature. As of this writing, you have twelve posts. Every one of those posts deal exclusively with the promulgation of the specific heresy of Modalism. Violating the TOU of our gracious host does not lend credence to your position. I request that you please desist. Certainly there must be forums out there where a Modalist position will not preclude your participation. (Try googling: oneness pentecostal forum.) Thank you.
