Bible Note: Brother Joe, I think the first question I should ask is, what is a prophet? What does it mean, to prophesy? The Spirit of God rests upon his people for a purpose. Luke 11:13 we can even ask for the Holy Spirit. Now, Paul says, covet the greater gifts! I am no theologian, I believe what I read and trust the Holy Spirit to help me understand [Jn 14:26] and praise God if He chooses to use a man to help me understand. But, I believe first. Mat 7:7 and many many other verses tell me that if I ask I will receive. However James tells me why I do not receive, actually James is great for this subject. If I am at Gal. 2:20 and therefore 1 Cor 2:16, then I should have no worries here! I trust that all in this service are Christians after Christ, however, thanks for pointing out that some may not have godly motives yet, I believe the best for the one that asked the question, I believe she or he has no ill intentions. Joe, love covers a multitude of sins, in LOVE correct others. God is LOVE 1 Jn 4:8. I Cor 13:13. God's people everywhere have their faults, the apostles did, maybe you don't, and that is great. Now, be as Christ and love the unlovable. We are body of christ, even those you call radicals. God knew exactly what He was getting into when He called us, He will lead us to Glory!! Amen? I love you Brother, because I love Christ. The Good Lord Bless you. |
