Bible Note: Greetings Charis! You are always welcome to intrude my friend! I'm sorry I didn't respond earlier, but my computer has been down. We apparently disagree on this issue. I do believe that Apostles were limited to the founding of the church. I also believe that prophecy, only in the sense of new revelation, ended with the completion of Scripture. Concerning my example, I was only trying to illustrate that one can't argue with "new revelation." There are a lot of false teachers out there who claim that God showed them something, but it is false. By the way, he was a member of a denomination, but left after the episode I described. He then started an independent church. I don't remember which denomination he was in for sure. I'm sort of at a loss concerning how to proceed from this point, so let me ask you a question.
