Bible Question:
tim ok. God saved His people ... but that was before Christ gave us salvation. my understanding is that if we are truly saved, then future sins do not condemn us. so what is paul warning about? we cannot lose that salvation. we will always be sinners. that is our nature. so this can't be warning us not to sin. according to romans thats not possible. |
Bible Answer: dear sandra 25, study the word and concept:apostasy. some people believe that only a saved person can become an apostate, and that it is a condition and position one cannot repent oneself of. one might consider the believers job description as doer of the good, shunner of sin. |
