Bible Question: i'm not sure how people dying of a plague is a warning. i can understand that sin will be punished. but death to a christian is eternal life. my commentary says this is a warning but i don't see how. am i missing something? |
Bible Answer: Hello sandre25 There about a half dozen people that got from Egypt to the promised land mainly because they lacked faith to take what had been promised. Verses 6-10 itemize different ways this lack of faith was manifested. It's a warning to not be distracted by the circumstances and trials, but to continue on in faith toward what God has for us Christ Jesus. Steve |
