Subject: Aren't we in the age of GRACE? |
Bible Note: Thank you for the lead, Pastor Glenn. However, I'm not sure that I understand Romans 7:25 25Thanks be to God–through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin. Does it mean that its alright to question and eventhough I would like to be in Gods laws its ok to be sinful because I'm a natural sinner? which is contradictory to Romans 8:9 You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. If the Spirit is in me, I should not have this sinful nature but if I am going to sin (which everyone is expected to) then the spirit is not in us. Do you follow what I am trying to say? We can be or at least I think I am in both situation but the Roman 8:9 clearly stated otherwise. Would you classify questioning and doubting God a sin? |
