Bible Question (short): Why God allows such tragedy |
Question (full): I have asked the following question before in my early days of being a christian and studying the Bible. "Why did God kills" i.e. re Amalakites, etc and have accepted the probable reasons explained then. Perhaps they really deserve to be wiped out. I am asking the same question again with the recent events happening in South East Asia i.e. the high number of death in the tsunami tragedy. If God is so full of grace and that He loves us so much that I believe Him to be, why is He allowing such massive deaths to happen? Please teach me how to explain to a non believer that God loves us that he sacrificed His son for our sins but then he still allowed such tragedy to happen. When I saw a news footage of a man on CNN who lost everything, wife, kids, house, I asked myself. Why? |
