Bible Question (short): Sorry |
Question (full): Dear Pastor Glen, I am sorry if I have mistook your earlier sharing. I felt the scriptures posted earlier involved 1) sinning 2) blaspheming the Lord, 3) did not repent which means that laws are broken. And if they did, they now face the wrath of God - all the victims including children in the tragedy deserve this for they all have sinned and did not repent. As for EdB's sharing, he made me realised what I did. I was judging God. I now felt that I was wrong for judging God in trying to seek an explanation why the event took place the way it did and by His Grace I hope He will forgive me for having such thoughts. I still am unable to comprehend this matter but when I read your earlier post. It gave me a picture that all of them deserve the wrath - the Indonesians, Sri Lankans, Indians, Thais as well as Europeans whom I believe are Christians too for they have not repented. We will never know if those dead Christians are what 1John 2:3 said they are, will we? That's why I could not agree with you. Pls correct me if I misundertood further. Even your new post mentioned repentence, disobedience, evil. |
