NASB | Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 5:8 But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. |
Bible Question: Does Romans 5:8 contradict Psalm 5:5, "The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity," or not? |
Bible Answer: I do not believe that God hates sinners. He came in the form of Jesus to forgive sinners and make them right with God. But Im sure he feels pity for those who are addicted to sin and cannot break loose from its grip. For he would like to see everyone living a normal healthy life. He knows the difference from a sick mind, and an evil mind. So when he comes to judge he will be merciful. He wishes to heal the sick, and have sinners repent. |
