Subject: Just your interpretation? |
Bible Note: Ray: Good to hear from you, brother. In your first question you ask: 'What is your interpretation of the "***him" of verse four?' I am confused because your verse 4 is verse 5 in the King James version. Your verse 4 (in Romans 4): "4 Now to him that worketh not, but believeth on ***him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." In the King James Version : Romans 4:4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. Romans4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. So, my question for you is: In the KJV, are you asking about verse 4 or verse 5? I'm afraid I do not understand your second question, "Or how do we look at Romans 10:14 in the King James?" If you would clarify your two questions, I would be happy to reply. Bless you, kalos |
