NASB | Romans 3:31 ¶ Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 3:31 ¶ Do we then nullify the Law by this faith [making the Law of no effect, overthrowing it]? Certainly not! On the contrary, we confirm and establish and uphold the Law [since it convicts us all of sin, pointing to the need for salvation]. |

Bible Note: Hi tortoise, That sounds right to me. We present ourselves to God as those alive from the dead. We live for Him as grateful servants. Romans 6:22, "But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to (God), you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life." Romans 7:6, "But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the (Spirit) and not in oldness of the letter."
