Subject: Are christians sinners or not? |
Bible Note: Dear Retxar, Paul admitted that he was a sinner by saying "For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate." (Rom 7:15) Peter demonstrared his capacity to sin when Jesus told said to him, "Truly I say to you that this very night, before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times." said to Him, "Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You." We know that Peter did deny his Lord just as Jesus said that he would. David is perhaps our greatest example of how far a believer in God can sink. 2Pe 3:17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know [these things] before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. This is Peter's warning to CHRISTIANS. Born again and delivered, yet, not perfected, John |
