NASB | Romans 2:13 for it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 2:13 For it is not those who merely hear the Law [as it is read aloud] who are just or righteous before God, but it is those who [actually] obey the Law who will be justified [pronounced free of the guilt of sin and declared acceptable to Him]. |
Subject: Doers of the Law means...?? |
Bible Note: Yes, the Law is put on our hearts...and NO, when they did sacrifices, that was NOT counted for righteousness...Please read Hebrews 9 and 10. With respect to Rom 2:15 and your question, please read Romans 1 for the answer. (Hint: We all know who God is and what is required...to be crucified/sell all/worship HIM and HIM alone, not creation...) Also, please understand as John 14:26 says, the Holy Spirit will teach you all things and remind you of all things, you need no man to teach you! Let HIM teach you as you read the above Scripture References and as you continue to read The Scriptures in general...amen and amen... John 6 says the same thing..."They will be taught by God". I suggest you read the entire chapter. Also, read Heb 8:11, where God says, "No longer will they teach their neighbors, or say to one another, 'Know the Lord', because they will "All KNOW ME" from the least of them to the greatest. Hope this helped... Crucified in HIM, Luis |
